Iōhannēs was a project born out of a need to express and expel the darker parts of the mind. In doing so, the project eventually lost form and traction, and has since been retired. Wonderful. Beautiful funeral doom. The patience in songwriting and performance really lends to the grand scale and weight that the lyrics complement perfectly. Incredibly well-executed and thought out and captures the essence of funeral doom. Definitely an artist to watch
